The Singapore Catalysis Society (SCS) was formed in 2008 and has 152 active members.
SCS collaborates with many research organizations and tertiary institutions, including National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Temasek Polytechnic and A*STAR research institutes. It also works with international catalysis societies through global networks.
The society’s main mission is to promote the growth and development of catalysis research in Singapore and strengthen collaboration among the scientific community and industry.
SCS aims to:
Foster interaction among catalysis scientists and engineers
Promote interdisciplinary collaboration
Support research, innovation & education
Collaborate with academia, industry & government
To achieve these goals, SCS organizes scientific meetings and forums such as Singapore Catalysis Society Forum and Southeast Asia Catalysis Conference (SACC)
